Fixed prices for Liverpool, Wirral and Sefton. St Helens, Widnes, Runcorn, Warrington and Chester carry a small travel charge, quoted before you book. No VAT is added.

What Changes the Price

  • The size and shape of the roof. A house roof takes up to 45 minutes on site. Large or flat commercial roofs take one to three hours, which is why they're priced separately.
  • Where the property is. Liverpool, Wirral and Sefton are standard price. Further afield we quote a small travel charge before you book.
  • What you need back. If you're making an insurance claim, the Storm Damage Check adds a video flyover, numbered damage and a written summary for your insurer.
  • The airspace. Some sites near Liverpool John Lennon Airport need permission from air traffic control before we can fly. That can affect when we fly, and we sort it out for you. See do you need permission to fly a drone in Liverpool?

Drone, Ladder or Scaffolding?

A roofer on a ladder can only see part of the roof, and climbing a wet or damaged roof is risky for them and for the roof. Scaffolding gives full access but has to be booked, put up and taken down before anyone has even looked at the problem.

A drone sees every slope from a few metres away in one visit, with nobody on the roof. You get dated, close-up photos of the chimney, ridge, valleys, gutters and flashing, with anything that looks wrong marked on the images.

What You Get Back

  • Close-up images of every slope, straightened and corrected for exposure
  • Visible damage marked on the images, so you can see exactly where it is
  • A short written summary of what we found
  • Everything sent by secure, encrypted download link within 24 to 48 hours of the flight

When a Drone Isn't the Right Tool

A drone sees the outside of the roof. It can't see inside the loft, under the tiles or behind a ceiling, so for a leak that only shows indoors you'll also need someone to look inside. We also only fly in safe weather: if the wind or rain is too strong on the day, we move your flight to the next safe slot at no extra cost.

Common Questions

How long does a drone roof inspection take?

Up to 45 minutes on site for a house roof. Large or flat commercial roofs take one to three hours. Files arrive within 24 to 48 hours of the flight.

Will my insurer accept drone photos?

Dated photos and a written summary give your insurer clear evidence of what has moved or broken. Ask your insurer what they need for a claim, and choose the Storm Damage Check if you're claiming.

Can a roofer quote from drone photos?

Roofers can use the marked photos to see what is damaged and where before they visit. They may still want to check some details in person.

When will I be charged?

Only once we've checked airspace and the forecast and agreed a date with you. If you book online, your card is held until then.
